The point of these case studies is to give you a bit of an insight into my way of working – to let potential clients get an idea of what kind of images you are likely to get if you book me as your wedding photographer.

Bryan and Hayley’s wedding was a bit different to the other case studies here, as they booked me for my 3-hour package rather than the full day. This 3-hour option is generally better suited to smaller family weddings. And, brucey-bonus, as I’m there for less time on the day the price is quite a bit lower than my full day package price. So I thought it was useful to showcase this wedding – and as you will see although I was there for quite a bit less time than usual we still managed to capture some really fun and interesting images!

My day started at the Registry Office in Kay Park, Kilmarnock and getting photos of the couple and their guests pre-, during and post-ceremony. As you can see Luna the dog had something of a starring role in the wedding! After the ceremony we travelled to Rowallan Castle where the wedding party had a drinks reception before having dinner in the Glasshouse Restaurant.

During the drinks reception I set up family photos overlooking the golf course (it was quite a breezy day but everyone bore the wind with good humour!) then took Bryan and Hayley for a short walk to the old castle. I even had time to play around with my flash while taking photos of the happy couple.

So as you can see, quite a lot can be accomplished in three hours! If you are having a smaller family wedding and maybe don’t need a photographer with you all day this three-hour package could be a good option for you.
